- PRODUCT DETAIL
This pot magnet with metric internal thread is a flat, low-profile magnetic fastener assembly. Its key feature is a completely flush top, unlike threaded bushing magnets which have a cylindrical boss above the rim. This magnet’s top is machined into a smooth, flat disc. The metric internal thread is cut directly into the center of the rim, inside the magnet body, making it the thinnest bolt-type magnetic fastener in the neodymium magnet base series. A standard metric bolt can be screwed directly into the central recess from the outside to secure the magnet, with no protruding parts on either side. Therefore, compared to any other base magnet mounting method, this assembly is closer to the mounting surface, and its clean, flat top allows for a tight, zero-gap fit with adjacent components. Note: The pull force is the test value under ideal conditions (direct attraction to a clean, flat 5mm thick low-carbon steel plate). In actual applications, factors such as paint, rust, air gaps, and thin steel plates will reduce the breakwaway force.

Key Features
- Flawless Magnetic Surface: The threaded hole is on the back of the magnet, leaving its front (working surface) completely flat and smooth. This ensures maximum contact area between the magnet and the adsorption surface, providing the strongest magnetic force while avoiding the accumulation of iron filings caused by holes.
- One Magnet for Multiple Uses: The internal thread design makes it a “universal interface.” You can easily screw in various standard parts such as bolts, eye bolts, hooks, and threaded rods, quickly switching between different scenarios without replacing the entire magnet.
- Invisible Installation: All threading operations are performed on the back of the magnet, making any screws or accessories completely invisible from the front. This results in a cleaner finished product, especially suitable for display applications. Furthermore, the separation of the operating surface from the adsorption surface avoids the inconvenience of operation in confined spaces.
Applications
1. Thin-Profile Cabinet Panels, Equipment Doors & Inspection Hatches
Internal spaces in these enclosures are often densely packed, with vertical clearances measured in millimeters. To install this internally threaded pot magnet, simply drill a through-hole in the panel at the desired location. The magnet’s flat working face sits flush against the inside surface of the panel, while the threaded hole faces outward. Insert a standard metric bolt from the outside and screw it directly into the magnet body – no separate nut required. Using countersunk or socket head cap screws allows the bolt head to sit flush with or recessed below the panel’s exterior surface. This design works perfectly within tight internal geometries and confined cavity dimensions.
2. Furniture, Cabinetry & Thin Wooden Panel Magnetic Catches
These internally threaded pot magnets are designed for installation into solid wood, MDF, or particleboard panels – with no protrusion on either side. The internal thread allows the magnet to sit inside a shallow blind recess routed into the front face of the panel. The magnetic working face aligns perfectly flush with the panel surface, while a bolt passes through a clearance hole from the back side and screws directly into the magnet body to secure it in place. This ensures both faces remain completely flat – no raised hardware, no exposed fasteners, and no need for plugs or fillers to conceal mounting holes. The result is a clean, professional finish that keeps furniture surfaces fully smooth and uninterrupted.
3.Retail Display Rails, Shelf Label Holders & Signage Frames
In supermarkets, pharmacies, and electronics retailers, shelf label holders and lightweight promotional sign frames need to be moved frequently as product layouts change. This pot magnet is designed to embed into the back of aluminum or plastic label channels. When it’s time to reset a display or rearrange a section, the entire assembly can be lifted off and repositioned in seconds by hand, with no tools required. This makes store resets fast, flexible, and hassle-free.
